Accountant
Cisco Equipment, an international company with domestic offices in Odessa, TX; San Angelo, TX; Lubbock, TX; and Artesia, NM is looking for a Corporate Accountants.
The position will be located in Odessa, TX.
Cisco Equipment is a distributor for several of the top heavy equipment manufacturers on the market today.

Position Description:
The Accountant contributes toward the preparation of monthly financial statements, financial analysis, compliance reporting, rental equipment reporting and account reconciliation in a highly computerized and team oriented environment.
Job Duties:
Completes month end processing, including journal entries, working papers and general ledger support.
Enters journal entries monthly into general ledger to record accruals, adjusting entries and irregular items not covered by the processing team.
Prepares working papers monthly in Excel to reconcile accounts and support financial statement preparation.
Performs ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis as required to support management in the decision-making process including gathering and summarizing financial and non-financial data from various sources.
Completes monthly property and sales tax filings accurately and timely.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
Must have 3-5 years of experience, or combined education and experience, in an accounting position.
Experience with accounting systems reporting required.
Must have knowledge of general accounting principles and practices as well as experience in analysis and reporting of financial data.
Will have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Office and 10-key by touch.
Strong attention to detail.
Professional attitude and appearance required.
The ability to efficiently and effectively problem solve as needed.
An attitude of continuous improvement is required.
Must have a strong understanding of internal controls.
Displays high level of professionalism and capability in dealing with others.
Work is accurate, organized and delivered in a timely and professional manner.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
