Main
Responsibilities:
:
Ability to manage and lead multiple projects and/or issues at one time.
:
Assist manufacturing areas with questions regarding day to day compliance and rule application :
Participate on internal audits to ensure compliance :
Assist in the development and submittal of agency reports :
Be on call for release reporting to appropriate agencies :
Participate on various teams to standardize, improve and document environmental compliance :
Perform inspections within the plant including SPCC monthly, SW quarterly, weekly 90 day pad, weekly eyewash/shower stations, manage contractor that performs fire extinguisher inspections, SCBA monthly inspections, etc.

Manage and coordinate waste disposal for 90 day and tank waste plus TPDES wastewater permit) Basic
Qualifications:
:
Bachelors degree, certificate, diploma gained through a college/ university.
Training and education must be in an appropriate SH and E, engineering, scientific, technical, or other related field.
:
Must have three or more years experience in a chemical plant, or other related industry with basic SH and E knowledge and skills.
:
Knowledge and previous implementation of Title V/NSR Air permitting, Texas Air Regulations and NSPS/MACT Air Requirements.
:
:
Understanding of regulatory requirements and regulatory reporting.
:
Must be able to accomplish results by working effectively with others and be willing and able to work in plant areas (i.
e.
walk long distances, stand, climb stairs and ladders and move through close spaces) to understand and monitor the process.
:
Low to moderate level of travel is required.
:
