50 an hour 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago City Ambulance Service is seeking a Logistics Specialist responsible for supporting the Logistics department in providing support through professional, friendly, and accurate phone interactions and arranging of emergent and non-emergent ambulance transports for our Odessa/Midland/Andrews/West Texas Stations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
- Make sure all ambulances are fully stocked and equipped -Help in the daily logistics operations between stations - Operates through the assistance of a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and a multi-telephone line system - Responsible for receiving and assigning emergent and non-emergent ground EMS transport efficiently to field personnel - Determines the nature and priority of the transport request and assists callers in a professional and efficient manner - Provides intake services and inputs all data accurately in the CAD system - Maintain contact with units to monitor field personnel's locations and activities during shift - Recognizes critical situations and alters supervisor on complicated and unusual situations - Move equipment between stations Other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely - Move supplies from and to multiple Houston Stations - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Commitment to teamwork and assisting colleagues in achieving company goals - Ability to think independently, to find creative solutions - Confident phone presence - Map reading skills, including online mapping programs - General geographic knowledge of Dallas and surrounding counties Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
