As a Service Center Supervisor, you will run day to day operations at assigned service center.
Supervises hourly workers (workshop & field-based employees) engaged in refurbishment of pump power units, fluid end units, auxiliary equipment on frac trailers and rental products.
Responsible for the deployment of training that will enhance organizational efficiency.
What you will be doing:
oManages shop operations in accordance with SPM documented procedures, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure all products and services meet customer demandsoDevelops daily production plan to ensure output targets are achieved and customer deadlines are metoCommunicates with customers daily to receive and deliver customer assets, meeting local customers deadlines and interpret customer requestsoExplains specifications and job orders to workers and assign dutiesoMonitor and improve safety on the shop floor; eliminate any unsafe operations and ensure a safe and clean product environment.
oDaily tie-in with production management to designate workload, priorities and sequence for work assigned.
oDetermines overtime need, determines priorities when resources are insufficient, and decides when disciplinary action is necessary.
oSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
Works to improve processes, timeliness and reduce costs by eliminating non-value-added activities.
oEnsures the quality of product produced and conforms to Quality Standards while maintaining cost.
oEnsure necessary parts and materials are ordered and distributed in a timely and efficient manneroImplement various corporate initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and certifications, etc.
oResponsible for training and development of staff, time keeping, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, and ensuring consistent application of organizational needs.
oComplete knowledge of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) of responsible areasoProvides input into billing and/or supply chain processesoWorks with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote expanded services growth in areaoSets up machinery, and dismantles pumps, engines, and other machinery when necessaryoTravel as required to customer locationsThe Service Center, Supervisor will supervise hourly employees, leads and shop techs.
Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, compliance etc.
in performing assigned duties.
Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by management from time to time.
What you will have:
Requires at least 2
years of aftermarket and/or workshop experience and have a mechanical aptitude.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of aftermarket operations, equipment, and processes.
A high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required for this position.
Prior supervisory experience is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft office products.
Must be willing to work outside of normal work hours including overtime and alternate shifts.
The employee may be required to move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
