Summary:
As a Manager of Automation Field Operations, your responsibility is to oversee and lead all automated water transfer activities for Keystone Clearwater Solutions through planning, organizing, directing, controlling, growing, and developing the field operations of the Company in your regionThe Manager of Automation Field Operations is responsible for the personnel management, planning, administration, set-up, safety, operation, and demobilization of automated water supply, water transfer, maintenance, and all other operations with a team of Automation Supervisors and Automation TechsThe Manager of Automation Field Operations is responsible to partner with Field Operations in, project planning, project engineering, quality management, and compliance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, state and federal laws, and regulationsAdditionally, this position is responsible to manage expenses and staff in accordance with the job proformaThis position will work with the Sales & Business Development team to obtain and retain business with existing and new customersThis position reports directly to the VP of Automation Standard Specifications:

Qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum of 5 (five) plus years of Industry experience with water transfer service or Oil & Gas operations Minimum 5 (five) plus years of automation controls experience, familiar with SCADA, PLC, and Electrical components Preferred:
Industry certification with practice area specialization of construction/general engineering, or mechanical trades, or civil/environmental engineeringKnowledge of hydraulics BSdegree in Engineering, Electrical, Technology or comparable degree or related major or equivalent combination of education and experience Requirements Skills:
Advanced computer skills; Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems, MS Office/Google Suite Computer networking and configuration experience A thorough understanding and ability to interpret and create P&ID drawings Job planning, able to work with internal and external customers to understand and document project needs and customer requirements, understand the abilities and constraints of our system, plan out logical systems to accomplish, and implement Very strong working knowledge of design and operations of instrumentation and control systems Thorough project technical review, risk analysis,and understanding (scope, approach, design) Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills Mechanical understanding of the operation of various electrical and mechanical water transfer and automation systems and components Electrical experience, able to troubleshoot wiring, and complete basic wiring tasks using voltage meters and signal generators Competency in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and fast-paced projects Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical and practical scenarios Very strong oral and written communication skills Willing to travel, work outside, and stay overnight to work at remote job locations Training and scheduling staff Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations in the states we operate in Sales aptitude and the ability to conduct sales, marketing, and business development actions to serve existing customers, grow revenue and create new opportunities Valid Driver's License JOB DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Automation project ownership, responsible to make sure all projects are run to plan and changes are communicated to internal and external teams Manages Automation Supervisors and Automation Techs to ensure Automated Water Transfer projects are being consistently managed in a timely and cost effective manner, and according to the project work order, proforma, and SOP's Ensures that standards for quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintainedEnsures that assets are cared for and preservedInitiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to company property Responsible to grow WaterForce automation to support all of our clients Oversee Set-Up, Troubleshooting, and Modifying PLCs and HMI applications in the field Complete knowledge of the WaterView Automation System, able to configure, explain, troubleshoot, and train others Assist in the continuous improvement, design, and development of Keystone's Automated Control Systems Overseeing functional testing and validation of automated control systems Developing and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues Training Field Automation Technicians on how to operate products and application and specific configurations, confirms that all staff are trained and meet requirements to perform daily tasks on customers job sites Implementing and updating standard practices and standard operating procedures for automated control system management Conduct thorough inspection procedures after setup of automation systems Processes, evaluates, monitors and controls changes to the assets Prepares maintenance and upgrade reports for management Keeps an accurate record and electronic database of all elements of the projects Presents procedures to those involved in the project; maintains a safe, clean, and productive environment through enforcing proceduresMaintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with state and federal regulations Works closely with Company's Water Transfer Operations personnel to successfully engineer and support projects Cooperates with other operations/regions of the Company to achieve the uniform deployment of consistent corporate culture and quality services to all customers of the Company, regardless of geographic boundaries Performs all work within the approved budget and exercises sound fiscal management Maintains appropriate communications within the area of responsibility Performs other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
