- Assist customers with various banking transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner - Perform basic math calculations accurately to ensure accurate transaction processing - Maintain knowledge of bank products and services to effectively cross-sell and upsell to customers - Follow bank procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and fraud prevention detection - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer balances - Assist with opening and closing procedures of the bank branch Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in customer service or retail environment preferred - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of banking regulations and procedures is a plus - Proficient in using computer systems and software applications The Teller position requires strong customer relationship skills, basic math proficiency, knowledge of loan origination processes, and the ability to detect and prevent fraud.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
This role also requires proficiency in retail math, sales techniques, and relationship management.
