Adelphi is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide direct and indirect(consult) therapy services and evaluations for students in Houston, Texas. The Occupational Therapists will be responsible for assessing students and providing appropriate treatment to meet individualized student objectives and provide recommendations for school needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American -Occupational Therapy Association)
  • Current National Board Certification
  • At least 1 year work experience within the last 3 years


Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct and indirect (consult) occupational therapy services to students in the region that require IEP OT services
  • Providing OT initial evaluation and re-evaluation support as needed for students in the region
  • Assisting in IE development for children receiving O.T. services
  • Maintaining appropriate records for all children receiving O.T.services
  • Supervising students as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by administration
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
