Operations Manager-Yates Field Unit - Kinder Morgan (IRAAN, TX)

o Lead the VPP (OSHA Voluntary Protection Program) effort and culture to maintain this level of excellence o Prepare, maintain, and execute overall field operating and capital budgets recognizing key business drivers o Lead staff in generating innovative operation methods to measure, predict, and maximize oil recovery from the reservoir o Direct team in generating workover/repair operations of wells o Develop staff members, personnel management, and staff succession planning o Emergency planning and preparation o Support and enforce all Kinder Morgan company policies and procedures Position Requirements Education:
Experience / specific knowledge:
10 year minimum experience in oil and gas industry with at least 3 years in progressive supervision/management role Certifications, licenses, registrations:
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
o Proven track record in managing oil and gas operations in a safe and efficient manner o Knowledge of CO2 EOR operations o Excellent communicator with the team, operations, and commercial groups.
o Able to work in a fast paced environment, frequently under pressure, on multiple tasks.
o Well developed interpersonal skills.
o Experience in Microsoft applications and well versed in making/generating presentations.
o Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details o Effective with performance management.
